Karadeniz ekibinin resmi sosyal medya hesabından konuyla ilgili olarak yapılan açıklamada, “Teknik direktör Bülent Uygun ile karşılıklı anlaşılarak sözleşmesinin feshi gerçekleşmiştir. Sayın Bülent Uygun’a yaptığı hizmetlerden dolayı teşekkür eder, bundan sonraki futbol kariyerinde kendisine başarılar dileriz” denildi.
7 Mart’ta Çaykur Rizespor’un başına geçen Uygun, Karadeniz ekibiyle bugüne kadar çıktığı 19 karşılaşmada 6 galibiyet 3 beraberlik alırken 10 mağlubiyet yaşadı.
