Girne Grand Pasha Otel’in arka taraflarında bulunan  boş bir arazide çalışma yapan kepçe aniden alev aldı.

Kepçenin motor bölümünde henüz bilinmeyen  bir sebepten çıkan yangın, kısa sürede büyüyerek tüm aracı etkisi altına aldı.

Lastiklerin yanmasıyla araçtan gelen patlama sesleri, bölge sakinlerinnde kısa süreli korkuya yol açtı sebep. Yangın, itfaiye ekiplerinin olay yerine gelmesiyle söndürüldü. Olayda can kaybı yaşanmaması ise sevindirdi.
