Kayseri İl Müftülüğünden yapılan yazılı açıklamaya göre, İl Müftü Vekili Mehmet İzci başkanlığında Müftülükte ihtida töreni gerçekleştirildi.
İzci’nin İslam’ın temel esaslarıyla ilgili verdiği bilgilerin ardından kelimeişehadet getiren Patrick, Müslüman oldu.
“Deniz” ismini alan Patrick, “Almanya’da çevremdeki Müslüman arkadaşlarımın yaşayışlarını gördüm ve onlardan etkilenerek Müslüman olmaya karar verdim.” ifadesini kullandı.
İzci, Deniz Patrick’e ihtida belgesi, Almanca Kur’an-ı Kerim meali ve İslam dinini anlatan kitap seti hediye etti.
