18. ve 19. yüzyılda Osmanlı Devleti tarafından yaptırılan birçok mimari esere imzasını atan Balyan Ailesi, yıllar sonra bir anıt mezara kavuştu. Üsküdar Surp Haç Ermeni Mezarlığı’ndaki Balyan Aile Kabristanı’nda inşa edilen Anıt Mezar törenle açıldı. Törene, Kültür Turizm Müsteşarı Ömer Arısoy, Türkiye Ermenileri Patrik Genel Vekili Aram Ateşyan ve İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Kadir Topbaş ile anıt mezarın sponsorları Hıraç ve Hagop Kırmızıyan kardeşler ve Ermeni cemaati katıldı.
